Malhargad is a hill fort in western India near Saswad, 30 kilometres (19 mi) from Pune. It is also known as Sonori Fort due to the village of Sonori being situated at its base. The fort was named for the god Malhari and was the last fort built by the Marathas.

Chetan..tks for doing justice to this fort by covering in the best possible way....the other mountains adjoining the fort are also interesting to trek...including the visit to soneri gaon from the fort..if lucky you can see deers on the mountain enjoying their meals😁

Mein yaha gaya hu cycle par iske base par ek chhota sa Dam hai ( Water Reservoir) jo local gaon walon ne paani store karne ke liye banaya hai. Not safe for solo hikers at all...
