Malibu CA Update on Stowaway Hitch Storage Box on RV Camper Van

An update on the modification I made to spare tire mount on back door of van to eliminate the 8in extension for the StowAway cargo box. The back door still opens exactly the same as normal. In Malibu beach California.

That is the best place to put a box too. I bet you get better MPG with that box where it is. They say they will improve MPG by breaking up the surface that causes a vacuum.

Malibu rv is about 12 miles south of you and is a amazing dog friendly full hook up rv park. Views are unbeatable

It opens halfway so I can get out most stuff but to get out generator I have to swing it out real quick... no big deal. Price to pay for it not sticking way out there. Thanks for watching!

I am giving some serious thought to putting one on my van, I do use my back door to get in an out of, because my bed blocks the side door. Do you think that would work..without it being a hassle. ?

+kathleen chapman Absolutely! Look at my other Stowaway (Need more storage video) this cargo box swings away out of the way of the door so you can open it. Its great!
