My goodness!…I used to love this show I was 13 when it aired and I’m 54 now🙈……. there is a guy from my home town in it!! Kieran Ward😆…I hope they are all still healthy and alive,and dancing…..maybe not quite as nimble as in the clip!….but thank you for sharing…..a great time in our lives 😄

Hi Sam,I was 22 years old so maybe Jay was around the same age.I think everyone were different ages.I just had to prove that I'd won my National Dance competition to be elligible to represent Ireland.I remember Jay so well.Wow it's 29 years ago.Boy I'M getting old !

This is very ironic! Shocking! Steve Dahl "dynamited" disco at Comiskey Park on July 12, 1979, and they still had a disco dance contest 4 years later in Malibu? I thought the disco dance craze in the USA and Europe had come to an end in 1979. I think Malibu was not going to give in to Steve Dahl's blow-up of disco and hold that exciting disco dance contest anyway here. My two bits was that what was disco became Euro-disco in the 1980s.
