It’s not just that the Warriors lost. I think we all just didn’t expect a 50 point blowout. It’s the largest defeat of Curry’s career entire career, and that’s saying something because the Warriors sucked his first few years in the league. It was a demolition of the highest magnitude. Also, the Warriors came into this game very hot after winning 13 of last 15, including 8 straight road games. So yes, they’re currently a play-in team. But that’s more because of their putrid start to this season. They’ve been much better overall since then… and they just got trounced.
