Red trunks (Dilshan), better performance in the clench, more takedowns, better ground game, attack in the crucifix & full mount looked absolutely brilliant.. The dude just didnt have enough gas in the tank to go the full length of the fight.. If not easy Victory by decision.

One of the reasons why mma will never come up in sri lanka. The referee first and foremost doesn't know what he is doing. He doesn't understand rules of mma. There is no kicking in groin, no holding onto ropes, and in this contest no elbows or knees to the face. This malinda did all tht and referee separated them only for one groin strike where as this guy did two groin strikes. He held onto the ropes atleast 10 times during this whole match, that is a straight disqualification. He is clearly on steroids, just look at his match in January and you will see what I mean. No takedown defense whatsoever and just overpowering by his strength due to roids and even then he had to hold onto the ropes to avoid take downs. Malinda is a disgrace to the sport and mma will never take off in sri lanka if proper rules and not adhered to. Even in January fight he try to kick a grounded opponent. Aren't these fighters been educated on the rules? CFC get your shit together before roided clowns end up killing someone.

Honestly, I was binge watching some of these fights and it's sad to say there are guys with a lot of heart but lack technique. The organizations are not aware of the rules of mma and its just like some brawl fest.
