There's 7 Maliss duelists in my locals and honestly seeing just them and the 3 Fiendsmith Ryzeal duelists just makes the other half of the room that aren't playing either decks not want to play yugioh.

In my opinion it really isnt that bad. Lancea is a turn skip and can also be used as a thrust target. Its better than most meta decks. IE it doesn’t floodgate and its not a very linear combo line through hts like ryzeal and fiendsmith. This is coming from a pk horus player. I run 3 lancea 1 sanctum 3 chaos hunter and have 3 thrusts for sanctum. Tbf maliss is my weakest matchup. But everyone is entitled to there own opinion
