As a freshman at SU, I highly recommend coming here to get some deals on clothes or dorm essentials.

I would hate to see this place shut down, but it has definitely seen better days. I grew up in Salisbury and this mall was my childhood! I remember having so many memories at this mall, I got some of the first pictures taken of me here when I was little at the family photography place (can't remember the name). I still frequently visit this mall but it makes me sad seeing how empty it is and how many stores have closed up! I hope maybe someday this mall will be revived.

I think this mall is not in any imminent danger of shutting down, it's the only mall for a very long ways, and I think there's enough of a customer base remaining in the region to support it. With the right management, it could be revived once again into a vibrant destination.

that is my local mall moved to Eastern Shore in 2010. It was still packed then most weekends. Went for a sale last week, counted 21 closed storefronts and 3 businesses with closing sale signs up. That's a third of the mall empty.

Hi I worked as the Director of Security (Shopco Mgt Corp of The Centre at Salisbury when it was being built (they transferred me from The Queen Center Mall on Queens Blvd to set up security. . Was there for about a year or year and 1\2 before I went to Tysons Corner Center and then onto Natick Mall in Natick MA. I enjoyed the time there found living in the area (we lived in the DelMar area) nice. The Mall was a interesting place to work, best I can say.

I really enjoyed visiting this property. I've heard it used to have a lot more fountains, and was supposed to be expanded at one point. Do you have any info on that?

@@blandmalls yeah I wish I could remember but that was a long time for me and I've been working in so many shopping centers they all tend to blend together and I started at Prince George's plaza when it was open air mall in 1971 went from there to beltway plaza and there to Landover Mall work there for 4 years then went up to the country club Mall in Cumberland Maryland and from there I went to the Queens center Mall in Queens New York on Queens boulevard from there I went down to the center of Salisbury from there I went to the Tysons corner center and over to the Natick Mall with a short stop over somewhere in between the Georgetown Park Mall in Washington DC so everything tends to blend together sorry I wish I could help you with more but I just don't remember

The place is deserted. I lived in Salisbury when they built this mall. I was a big deal and the happening place to be when I was 13 yrs old. I could ride my bike there and didn't have to have parental supervision....ahhhh, freedom! I had my first actual "meet me at the mall" date there....we had an Orange Julius and walked around, and then a bunch or her girl friends showed up and ruined it.
