I know Kenny G as Pizza Hut tunes. Anyone else remember being a kid in the 90s listening to Mr G in the Hut? Thanks for sharing.

That “it’s a fact” song has one little part of the hook that almost sounds like “through the fire” from Chaka Khan! 🎉 Now I have to see what the connections are between both artists. They must have had the same producers or same studio musicians. So much of the hit 80s music is connected in a very small family of talented people and greedy record producers that took advantage of that talent.

Uh oh.., I have my roots wrong here. That song is from Jeff Lorber and came out BEFORE Chaka Khan’s song and Jeff was his own producer of that track… now I have to spend the rest of the day listening to more… 😂😂😂

I actually just visited this mall recently and was struck by how seemingly vaporwave-y it was! So quiet and eerie, quite possibly the most dead mall I have ever stepped foot inside of…yet it housed some kinda crazy hidden gems. The arcade looked like it was straight out of the 80s, and their physical media store had one of the best VHS tape collections I’ve ever seen at any store.

that is my local mall moved to Eastern Shore in 2010. It was still packed then most weekends. Went for a sale last week, counted 21 closed storefronts and 3 businesses with closing sale signs up. That's a third of the mall empty.

The place is deserted. I lived in Salisbury when they built this mall. I was a big deal and the happening place to be when I was 13 yrs old. I could ride my bike there and didn't have to have parental supervision....ahhhh, freedom! I had my first actual "meet me at the mall" date there....we had an Orange Julius and walked around, and then a bunch or her girl friends showed up and ruined it.

This song was also an appropriate track for Japan’s digital switchover in 2011. Due to copyright restrictions it was not possible to play any of his tracks on television stations when information screens were being displayed…

I interviewed Trammell about his Weather Channel music and you can see it by typing "Another Colorful Life Trammell Starks" in the search prompt. His music got me through the pandemic. He talks about this song during the interview. He's great!

This is my remaining places of my childhood thats still standing and i STILL go there! Mainly for an occasional Friday evening dine outs! Back in 2019 i went there on Halloween and it was VERY crowded! That moment really felt like if i were there back in the 90s, back then we used to trick or treat in the malls and that included the ORIGINAL Menlo Park mall!

Perfect encapsulation of the calm before the storm. I always wanted to visit this place and walk through the halls of closed storefronts and battered displays, but oh well, guess all I can do is dream. Thank you so much for uploading. ❤️

I can’t believe this played on the very last day which was October 31, 2008 what’s today the only Reminence of the mall that is left is the former seers building which is now recycling center and as for the rest of the property it has been completely demolished in 2016-2019 and an Amazon fulfillment center sits in his place as of 2023

When I see a short time on a mall video for a spot this large granted they are dead stories but it looks to have at least a 60% occupancy rate? But I don't get what walking 90 miles an hour with no voice over information on why this is as good or bad as it is has to happen? But doing this Mall Walker stuff gets just totally out of hand were you afraid for your safety? Look at the size of place on the smallest map it's completely loaded up are better than most malls with a lot of the chain stores still going. Slow it down give us some history some data and all the shots you took instead of blasting the music which was bad it's just annoying when you see you could be here in a whole lot about different pieces of this phone and considering how many we've lost around me I've got eight that are gone and turn to dust so anything we can preserve and find use for is a blessing!

I don't usually do history in my videos, if you want that there are many other videos of this mall. You're absolutely right that it's not dead or dying. As for the music, if you don't like it, you're free to silence it. I was absolutely not afraid for my safety while I was here, it felt quite peaceful when I was here.

@@blandmalls I got you yes there are a ton of other Mall reviews but sadly most of them aren't that great. I thought yours was a good shot quality I like the interior shots of the place although history I mean more like why is the fountain down there's all those water effects that are obviously not working but considering how full that mall is why did did they turn him off? And I'm not sure what was above that Macy's home store but I was interested to see since it looked like there was a second level of some sort I mean how do you get up in there? Can you use it wasn't bad it was just kind of overpowering I would have loved to at least heard some background on the mall or even text underneath it but the music was fine I didn't mind it I was just had questions that I would love to get answers to like what was upstairs things like that historical not old stuff. And by historical I mean what was in some of those slots in there originally. I do appreciate your overall work especially in comparison to at least 80% of the guys out there that make these things and I'd be curious to see what other malls you find.

I never realized how much greenery and light is shown throughout the mall. Always loved going here from Delaware County area. No taxes either. Remember buying a lamb skin leather jacket at Wilson’s where the At & T store is at now.
