Thanks Abhi for showing everyone how beneficial 'distance coaching' can be using your own onboard video. If anyone wants to find out more, all the information is on my coaching website: www.v121pro.com Cheers. Mike.

Brilliant Abhi. I've got my first ever track day at Mallory with Jamie Witham May 4th 2023. I have watched this all the way through and even though I will be on a 600, the information Mike gives is great. There's no way I will be fast but can practise the principles. Thanks Abhi its been a fantastic help. Andy🤙🏍

No problem Andrew, to be honest with you, 600 is the better bike for that track , sometimes a 1000cc bike can have you in knots on a small circuit like Mallory …. Glad the video was helpful … have a good one mate. Hope it’s lovely and dry for you :)

Glad you gave this a go Abhi 👍 I had Mike go through my Catalunya footage, not so much for track specific advice but more for general riding habits. Like you I was impressed by just how much Mike could pick up from the onboard footage. Amazing value I think as I have things to work on for my next few track days. Then once I feel like I've addressed those areas I'll be back asking Mike for more pointers.

That's awesome! I was fortunate enough to meet Mike 'Spike' Edwards in Dubai a few years ago. He gave a bunch of us a talk and insights into riding the track here. 👌🏽

@@ChasingTenths Yeah...he even took part in one round of the National Sport bike Championship here. Annihilated the field too. It was brilliant watching him ride. Stand up guy, a really great human being.

Mike 'Spike' Edwards is awesome for coaching us track boys and girls and I loved his advice on Paddock Hill - Druids. But I tell ya this Abhi, on Tuesday in my group Inters I saw quite a few twats more bothered about flying around screwing up others' lines and at the same time getting their knee down over getting their body position right. Lesson 1 and 2 in Cal Superbike school teaches you. If they don't know the fundamental elements to begin with, then Mike's great expertise is wasted on them.
@ChasingTenths3 жыл бұрын
Gio, I agree totally, knee down isn’t everything, recently I have raised my foot pegs high & I hardly knee down but I am going faster on every track than before . You make some good points there.
