Honestly difficult to hate the guy, not sure why Smash Fans really beg and harass the poor guy to put their favorite characters in. He added Joker and Hero which I didn’t really care too much, but looked fun. I now enjoy their play styles and original games a lot since I never really liked RPGs that much. Now that there’s another Resource Management character being Steve releasing tomorrow I’m glad since he was revealed on my Cousin’s 15th birthday and his favorite game is Minecraft. I remember my brother popping off next to me that same day. Minecraft is a really fun game for us to waste time and see what we can get away with. In short just appreciate all the hard work and love Sakurai is putting into these Smash games and caring about the fans more than himself. He’s a hero for everyone and I’m glad he’s been there since 64 as the lead director. But damn I hate melee and glad it’s dead.

Also, I like my Sakurai presentations subbed, not dubbed 😆 Seriously though, I really think there being no English narrator dub in the presentations from Sakurai’s home makes it more personal and fun. (This, in addition to being virtually invited into Sakurai’s home, of course.) At least the pandemic has given us some silver linings like these.
