Thanks for your videos! I wanted to ask you for advice, if possible. How to calculate the protein quota for a patient with sepsis and renal failure? In the first condition it is recommended to increase it, and in the second - to limit. How to be? Especially if the patient has malnutrition.

These situational questions are difficult to answer because there is no official recommendation or one correct answer. The response should be based on your judgement as the clinician, and your understanding of the specific patient. You need to figure out which condition takes priority! Usually, I would prioritize meeting the needs for severe infection and critical illness over renal failure, and would not restrict protein.

Nearly ive seen all your vids , im a clinical dietitian , we are struggling too much here but we're trying to do our best to delivere good nutrition to our patients regardless poor resources that barely exist 😢

@@clinicalnutritionuniversity thanks for your kindness , i meant in our country nutrition as a speciality is relatively new in the medical team , maybe 10 years ago was the beggining of clinical nutrition establishment , still some doctors deny us , others interfering with our job , some believe in us , also we don't have a written policy or protocol to work freely
