Hi there! Where was that link you mentioned regarding “recording it from the MPC into the 404 and back into the MPC “. I have an sp 808 that I’m still learning how to use it but I’m interested in doing how you did it just like the 404 ( mainly for the effects). Thanks

Hey Francis, that is correct there’s a few different ways that I’ve been using it but my favorite way is using the 404 for some inspiration with the sounds that it has so as you will see on that video how I send out my samples into the 404 and then add some unique touches with sound effects and send it back to my MPC for resampling.

Good morning and Happy President's Day, Malo. Thank you for sharing the content. As ususal, it's "Top Notch!" Loved that sample and I first heard of AJ Hall's drum kits from J. Depina. Amazing drums! Newbie question: When you were using tap tempo to figure out the tempo of the sample, you then decided to go down 4 semitones. How did you know the tempo of the sample once you went down four semitones without using tap tempo again? Love what you do. Bendiciones!

Wow Malo, you're really an influencer now. Very good channel. Btw, if you can try a gear, it's called the MOPHATT or Planetphatt module by EMU. The drums are useable. Anyway, there's an MPC sound pack MOPHATT and Planetphatt for 14 each on eBay.

@@malobeats Yes, Planet Phatt or MoPhatt(the later model with knobs and is cheaper) are what people used in mid 95s. I remember this .. The Drums from what I understand is programmable or editable. The drums are hitting though. You can make a loop then sample on your SP404 and add fx juice. I really want one but the MOPHATT .. I see one for 250.00
