Thanks K&J- Had opportunities to visit in the past (being an ‘eye-talian’ 😊), met a few Maltese in our travels, but never made the trip. 🤷 A ferry ride from Sicily would be a cool way to go! Appreciate this video and your observations (e.g., residential process for EU citizens, landscape, 80%, need for car and apparent transiency). Not sure I would pick up on all these points but good to know. 👍🏻 Great job!

It’s true, some islands are mostly rock and not very green at all, I’ve heard some Maltese refer to it as their “home rock” 😂

Josh's comment is an interesting juxtaposition, ie a place with a 6,000 year history that looks and feels only 80% finished. How is the Maltese cuisine? Do they have their own cuisine or is it mostly Italian and international cuisine? I knew almost nothing about Malta before visiting there briefly by watching your video. Thank you.

Thanks for watching, Michele. Malta is a very intriguing place to say the least. They do have their own local dishes that have a variety of influences. We did get the chance to eat some of them while also taking advantage of having different international cuisine options compared to Portugal. Our next destination, Morocco, we'll likely stick to just the Moroccan cuisine. - Josh & Kalie

@@expatseverywhereexplores - I'm dying to visit Morroco. It's been on my list for quite some time and I love their food. Can't wait to see your video.
