​@@hussar4472We don't have aim assist against tanks dude... In War Thunder this wouldn't work, this isn't Battlefield or Call of Duty. In console, there is an option to have some kind of aim assist that only works against helicopters and planes... But this only gives you an advantage with top tier SPAA. Playing on console is worse than playing on PC... We don't have access to ULQ settings and trying to use all the mechanics that planes have is a nightmare.

Remember to always report cheaters via the server replay or else nothing will come from the report. When you report or complain about players ingame then the report does not inlude the replay. And without the replay; the game masters that handle reports cant see what happened.

Shutting down chinese servers was such a massive mistake, I've encountered so many chinese players with low level accounts having insane winrates/k/d ratio. Since the game has been getting better with many issues being addressed and solved I hope this also gets the same treatment.

I just appreciate how ever since they brought in the chinese servers from being isolated to global and enabled their names, cheating has become rampant. They're either botting or cheating like this, to the very extremes. I don't wanna lump in "all" CN players and no this is anecdotal, but still I can't count on one hand how many times i've seen these suspicious plays from alphabetic names, whereas chinese characters in particular (yes I can differentiate Hangul and Kanji) are likely in the high triple digits for me now. Lovely how we got a whole culture of people known for cheating all to ourselves.

I've played this game for over a thousand hours and can only say I've seen, without a doubt, a cheating player twice. One time a Tiger I was firing through rail cars from the opposite end of the map on Port Novo, I checked replay and he had no line of sight, he got like ten kills in the end (because everybody in my team just left after being killed by him lol). So honestly hats off to Gaijin, they designed their netcode specifically to make it extremely difficult to cheat and I think they've done a good job on it. I'm fine with the odd ghost shell or briefly invisible player if it means I don't have the Battlefield Experience™

It's rare, but it does happen. I remember playing on Hurtgen Forest and there was an mother!@#$%^ in a Mk.5 AVRE lobbing shells with perfect accuracy from their spawn. In replay, you could watch them lock on to enemies with absolutely no way they could have seen them. This wasn't easy lobbing into the base, they were hitting targets all over the map. So yeah.

That was before Chinese servers were closed, oh boy, I´ve played this game since 2019 and after the cn servers closed, I found like 3 cheaters. No joke when people say all chinese are hackers.

@@nyccoyax3831 War Thunder is notoriously difficult to hack. In fact, it's literally *impossible* to use a true aimbot because the client can NEVER accurately predict physics, that's entirely server side. The downside of this is you get things like ghost shells and more latency issues. EasyAnticheat covers detection of many of the most common cheat programmes and disables them before you can even think about hacking the game. The best you can really hope for is seeing people through walls and aim assist (aim assist already exists for console players as far as I'm aware). Compare that with Battlefield's system where a lot more calculations take place clientside and then are sent to the server which just has to trust that they're accurate and unmodified. You will see hackers in Battlefield all the time, and not just aimbots, but also speedhackers and, my favourite of all time, the invisible medic swimming underneath the map with instant teammate revive range with zero cooldown.
