This sounds like my Misty....I got her from a kitten and she lived for 20 years....I was in my 20's when I got her and she and I grew up together through thick and thin. I was 46 when died....it was so traumatic to see your best friend pass. I will NEVER forget her. RIP, Misty....I love you.❤

Puddy, my Siamese cat, was my friend when both my parents passed away 6 months apart. I don't think I would have made it through that time without my best friend, my cat. She was always waiting for me no matter how late I got home. She passed in 2013. Since she was a stray her age was estimated at 22-25 years old. I still miss my friend.

Adoption agencies need to vet people more carefully. Someone took this Angel in as a kitten, didn’t care enough to have her spayed or keep her indoors, and then abandoned her when she was still a kitten but pregnant. Thanks to her mom for loving and helping this wonderful, traumatized kitty have a long happy life.

Sometimes people adopt from others whose cat gets pregnant and just don't want the kittens because they also failed to fix their cat. So the cycle continues because they failed to fix the kittens before adopting them out. Shelters usually fix all kittens and cats before adoption.

Not all cats are adopted from agencies. I've gotten 3 kittens over the years from farms. They were kittens of barn cats. Another one of my cats I found hit by a car on the highway. I took him to the vet and then my mum took him in. When my mum died, I kept him. My two dogs I didn't adopt from agencies either. One was my grandpa's dog and when my grandpa died I kept the dog. My other dog, I got from a friend because the dog was her father's dog and her father died. I've actually only ever adopted 3 pets from an agency. All my other pets over the years I've gotten from other people or I found them or I took them in because their owner died.

People love to forget that animals are sentient beings too. They feel emotions just as we do. The world is full of sadness on that account but geobeats always features the best side of humans and their animal families. Uplifting to see humans treat doggos and kittens as their own.

Oh my goodness! She looks exactly like my late girl, Sox! She's the exact age Sox was when she died from cancer. My beloved son, Eiric, passed away on June 9th. She is in the casket with him. They will be together forever 💔😥🐱

Have you put them in your will? I have recruited 3 people I trust who have agreed that if possible they will adopt my cats when I direct. I also directed that money to support them go to the adopter. I expect to live a long time but there’s no guarantees, and I want my babies safe.

The relationship we have with our furry friends is beyond special. My friend Kimba is one of the sweetest cats i've known. When my autoimmune diseases act up, he will stay by my side all day. No complaints or meowing. Just loving and comforting me throughout the illness. I'm so thankful for Kimba. I love him dearly. I have a cat that was traumatized when I adopted her. She gathers toy sparkle balls (small sparkly light balls the cats play with) she holds in mouth and wails over. It freaks my other cats out. I always thought she may have had kittens in the past that were lost.

Oh my gosh! I'm not 😢. You are. Angel sounds like such a sweet cat. We used to have a white rescue cat named Ernie. Sadly, he died at age 2 when he got caught in neighbor's above ground swimming pool and couldn't get out. My stepdaughter heard him meowing, but didn't see him in it.
