Hey people!! Thank you guys so much for watching this week of school lunches! / What I make for my kids school lunches! I hope you got some ideas / inspiration of what to pack for your kids for their school lunch! I try to keep things on the healthier side, sometimes it doesn't always workout the best way possible, I am human - and do end up throwing in some stuff that they enjoy - which includes a ton of sugar! haha but it's all about balance in their lunch box!
I have two kids, Avalina is in 1st grade, and Eleanor is in Pre- K 3 (she is 3 years old). I pack lunch for them they have two snacks and one lunch break throughout their school day!

Loved the lunches!! The variety you came up with was awesome. I normally go kinda numb , like my brain stops working by Wednesday. So difficult to pack different lunches everyday. Eleanor is doing great with her lunches. I guess she is enjoying school . We are praying for the people who were devastated in Houston by Harvey !! You are Awesome Kim!

Thank you for adding the ending! We were extremely fortunate but have friends that weren't so fortunate. Everyone doing all they can has been a major blessing. The Red Cross has been providing hot meal and many individuals are driving around feeding and providing supplies to people working on their property after the flood. It truly is amazing!

Loved the lunches, love all the snack variety you have. And I got Larabar in cookie dough and omg it's life changing. Really yummy. Though I live in the area of all the rain and flooding my immediate family was not effected by the water our hit is more with my husbands job and my daughter going to school. I remember you looking for homemade pizza lunchables ideas last school year and wanted to mention what we have found that works great for my 11 year old. We came across these sandwich thins that works great as the pizza crust. We have also used the skinny girl flatbread wraps and pita bread. All turned out great we just kept the sauce and toppings separate until she was ready to assemble and eat during lunch.

Hi there. Enjoyed your video! Just curious, I have been looking for a warm food container like the fuel one you used for pasta and soup in this video. Is it designed for warm food? When I searched for it online the only option I could find was the fuel glacier container - meant to keep things cold..they look exactly like what you are using. Just wondering how well it keeps food warm? The handle looks so easy for kids to open and I love that it’s more of a bowl shape than a thermos!

Thank you for your consondolence. I live near Houston. There was 55 inches of rain in my area. My family and I left town. We were not abme to return for a week. On a great note my place was ok. My son and I have been doing what we can to help. It is heart breaking to drive around and see everything that people own out at the end of the driveway because they lost everything. My friend's car got flooded as well as her mom's house.

Hey Olivia! My husband has an allergy to casein (protein in cows-- so no red meat / dairy items) it was easier for the whole family to go dairy free (7 years ago) but I tend to fall off the wagon when I'm pregnant, but am slowly getting things back in order! lol

Your videos have encouraged me to eat healthier, but when I woke up on Saturday my husband was watching "What the Health" and now we've decided to go vegan. 😜 I have rheumatoid arthritis, I was diagnosed at the age of 6 and I'm 37 now, so he's always looking for ways to help my pain (I refuse to take narcotic painkillers). If you've seen the documentary you know about the lady on it who could hardly walk but was significantly better after two weeks on a plant based diet. Anyway, I'm just rambling on but I did want to say that I have been watching your videos for meal ideas and my children would thank you if they knew that we weren't just experimenting with different meals.

We watched What the Health when it came out as well! I love all those documentaries on Netflix! Good for you for making the switch! Glad I could inspire some change as well!! -- I also have arthritis (in my chest --rib cage--) anyway I noticed a HUGE difference when we stopped eating dairy! Dairy is an inflammatory, so I hope it helps with your discomfort as well as you start taking those things out of your diet!

Funny thing about their tongues hurting with pineapple! That's actually a really valid and common complaint! Pineapple contains bromelain, which is the same enzyme commonly used in meat tenderizers. It breaks down/softens proteins. If you eat enough, you could technically tenderize your tongue. Of course the amount needed is far more than six chunks, but different people react differently and that's probably why it stings. I had that problem as well. Who eats only a half of a cookie when it’s wrapped in a bag like that?? “Portion control” is a JOKE. Double EVERY number on the nutrition label. 180 + 180 calories = -> 360 calories IN ONE COOKIE!!!! That’s almost more than a 1/4 pounder burger with the works on it!! If you put that in a kids meal, only put a fraction of it in, and take three other snacks out!
