I painted my village in white chalk paint, and trimmed them in gold, the windows, doors, put the bulbs on the out side trees with the gold, the name of the stores where also painted with the gold pen, I had had them for about 45 years and I needed a change, love them in the white.. that way I can sit them in separate places instead of all together, everything u got was very nice, we don’t have stores like u have, would love to shop in Canada with you 🌹

When I moved into my condo after my divorce abt 8yrs ago, I started decorating w black/white(classic) & it was so difficult to find anything here in Ohio. I started going back to my 1st love, blue/white chinoiserie a little over a yr ago & now I'm finding b/w stuff everywhere! lol That's ok, I'll just be ahead of things.😉 Anyway, I almost passed out when I saw that gorgeous tea pot at 6:46!! I learned a long time ago to buy things I love. Whether it's new, vintage or antique. If it's me, then everything will flow together. It's worked so far!💖

I feel your pain in regards to losing things. I just bought a pair of earrings thrifting and lost one the first time i wore them. I also bought a sapphire ring in Thailand two years ago and lost one of the main stones out of it... It is devastating! I thrifted some of the village buildings last year and i painted them like gingerbread. This year the gingerbread houses are all over the place. You made some good scores at the thrift shops!

And i have a beautiful church one but . Im on the lookout for more. Funny thing i have mine on my kitchen window sill. But im noticing ineed a coat of paint on the window sill. Maybe cover it with fake snow blanket for now. 😂 im same way finding so much stuff at thrift stores. I usually bring my decorations im not using and donate and pick up newer thrift treasures. You two need to fuel up with a good dinner. And go walk it off. That's a very long day thrift marathon day for sure, ladies. Nice finds Brooke 👌 😉 what did laurie find? You 2 make a great team shopping 🛍 you have a good friend in Laurie. Im heading out to 3 thrift stores today. There finally put there Christmas stuff out. Its a repurpose store . Such beautiful antiques and everything in this treasure store. They buy out all these older homes that are sadly getting torn down. For new high rises. Older chandeliers. Furniture. Desks you name it. Even kitchen sinks.😂and my other 2 favorite thrift stores. Then hitting a craft fair. Meeting up with my great granddaughter and her Mama. My great granddaughter she loves to have tea parties 🥳 those were very nice teapots for little pretty princesses 👧 i really enjoyed your video so much today. Yeah, it’s a long day going out there for sure but it’s enjoyable. She has some she. She changes her decor quite often but that’s just who she is. It’s her home so I’m gonna go over and help her again. She just asked me today actually.

Hello. What a nice morning treat for me! May I ask what adhesive you used to attach the fringe to your lampshade? I’ve unsuccessfully attempted to add ribbon trim to my lampshades. I used a fabric fusion adhesive and failed miserably.
