Mexican food and Turkish food have tons of similarities. They use many of the same core herbs and spices (cumin, oregano, cilantro), a lot of similar core ingredients (tomatoes, onions, garlic, various chiles, tamarind, etc.), a lot of similar cooking methods. I've been to Turkey twice, for about a month in total. The food is amazing.

I am a Turkish girl and I was very happy to see this video. The first watermelon gum in the video is actually very soft. I think this gum and the others were a bit stale at the time of the video. The rest of the snacks are usually things that Turks don't really prefer, but that are sold by the brands of Turkish discount markets. Of course it is a good way to find local products but I can assure you that there are much better flavors in our country. Love and greetings to Mexican moms. I am so happy to see this video again... Love...

My comment will be especially for Mexicans. In addition to the brands you see in the video, dozens of other brands produce in Turkey and sell their products to other countries. I would like to say with confidence and assertion that the diversity in the biscuit and chocolate sector in Turkey is not available in many developed countries. The Turkish food sector cannot see the sales figures it deserves in some countries that are physically distant from Turkey due to the inadequacy of the executives responsible for trade at the state level of those countries and sometimes due to their ill-intentioned colleagues in the sector. In conclusion, I recommend that you trust the Turkish food sector and use Turkish products. (Producers who do not do their jobs well periodically or regionally can be in every sector, and they will not be able to stay in the sector for a long time anyway.)
