I make Indian dishes twice a month and would make it weekly if my brother who lives with me liked curry. I’m trying to find a dish he might like besides naan but so far I haven’t been successful but his kids devour Indian food when I make jt. He’s more into East Asian flavors so that’s the kind of food I usually make him but I’m open to any suggestions of what I can make him. To be honest, there is no existence of "COCONUT NAAN" in Indian cuisine, especially in India. Totally a westernized version of some kind of Naan for sure.

This is awesome! I'm Indian and I LOVE Mexican food which is so similar and yet different in many ways. The two just go together. I was lucky to visit Mexico City a couple of years and went absolutely ballistic eating the street food and the high end stuff as well. So much diversity, just like our food. Someday, I hope someone opens up an Indian restaurant that has a little bit of every region in the country on its menu. The food from South, East and Northeastern India is so different from the butter chicken, tikka masalas etc. which are typically from North India. All the same, I'm glad the senoras enjoyed their outing, lovely to see them enjoy, compare and contrast Indian and Mexican food.

I'm Colombian and we don't do a lot of spicy food here (I'd say our thing is mixing sweet and salty flavors in unexpected ways), but I've tried Indian food here from a couple restaurants and I MELT every time. It's so amazing. Indian cuisine is the most AMAZING experience, especially if you are Latin. I think we are so used to a wide variety of ingredients, that it is surprising to find so many unknown spices in another cuisine + having them go so good together.

You’d be surprised how much Mexican cuisine has influenced Indian cuisine. Tomatoes, cilantro, green chilies, and potatoes were introduced to India in the 1500’s by the Portuguese by way of Mexico 🇲🇽 In turn, India introduced sugar cane to Mexico by the Portuguese. 🇵🇹 🇲🇽 🇮🇳

I fell in love with Indian food in College when I worked in the dinning hall with the head chef of Indian/south Asian cuisine (she was Indian herself, the sweetest lady) Wednesdays were my favorite day to work because I definitely had extras taken home that didn’t get eaten 😂😂 A lot of the dishes served in the video we also made at the dining hall. I’m getting hungry just watching this video.
