I never put together that it started with them saying “where are you” and then went straight to “come here”. 😂😂 I really love this album. And 25 is actually still one of my favorite Wheein solos. It’s just such a vibe and the words are so relatable. I love the whole album, but Bad Bye and My Star are definitely at the top. They both go so hard in such different ways. Bad Bye has this kind of dark feel that we don’t see too much in Mamamoo songs, so it’s always so impactful when they do. And that was Ms. Jung Wheein whistling in the back of My Star. She is also the one whistling in Woo Hoo. I think I heard that she’s not super confident in her whistling ability so she doesn’t usually attempt it during lives. But she has done it once or twice and it’s always so impressive.

What a perfect album to drop the same day/day after Wheein releases her new album In The Mood! Loved seeing your reaction Landon, I knew you were going to enjoy Gogobebe and Bad Bye especially! Shame you didn’t watch a live stage for Waggy, they always performed it in ridiculous costumes- from animal onesies to fast food- and Solar had a highlighted section for her to do animal impersonations, something she was supposed to switch up every time but didn’t because Hwasa loved her elephant impression too much. You’ve only got 4 Mamamoo Albums left and I’m so happy to see you still enjoying them!

I love this album. Bad bye and My Star are some of my fave B sides. Bad Bye makes me want to sing my heart out into a hairbrush and My star... that beat drop goes hard and their vocals are just top tier. Solar Wheein and Hwasas adlibs, Moonbyuls rap and wheeins highnotes in the end is just perfecto

My Star still wins the best B-Side title in Fandom polls... To perhaps understand their greatness even more, I recommend watching the live performances. Hearing My Star live once from Mamamoo is a point on my bucket list besides hearing Mamamoo live in concert... ^^

since no one has yet explained waggy, it's essentially talking about puppy love. there are elements of wordplay here that is lost in translation here too. the part where they sing "gye gye gye gye gye" translating to "that", also is phonetically identical to the "gye" that translates to "dog", hence the iconic puppy onsies. i have no explanation for the owl though. then again, i wouldn't really trust the translation of anyone mislabelling hwasa as dara from 2ne1.
