Damn, exactly my thoughts. Her vocal color fits this chrous perfectly. It's so good. And moonbyul really grow a lot in music perspective over the last 1-2 years. From having nearly no singing line, to having like 2-3 singing line near Starry night era, to Ten Nights and Hello Mama, then her solo and now this. I'm not surprised but I'm honestly amazed on her vocal development through the years. I always noticed how she was not really confident in singing as first. I felt that it was a shame to hide her singing voice since she originally trained to be a vocalist. But rn, this song shows so much of her singing voice and it's so good. They once said that they aren't good at doing lipsync since they like to make some improvisation during singing like ; changing the beat (music), lowering the note or making it higher, even adding some words 😩😄 Mamamoo basically consists of 4 solo singers (I could say). After watching this again after a while, it suddenly struck me just how much musicality there is to Moonbyul's movement. They are not just rhythmic or 'on beat', they express the emotions of the music, and feel almost poetic to watch. I don't know much about dancing, but in any given day, I'll definitely pick this over a powerful choreography that doesn't speak to me. 0:19-0:43 Take the opening seated sequence for example. Even the littlest details, like the hand falling at 0:31 and the slight clasping of fingers at the 0:37 ish second, are perfectly timed. Moonbyul's attention to detail is one of the things I like the most about her as an artist

Can we give a shout out to how much Byul cares about her fans? She gave her own ideas about the merch(she knows what the moomoo's needs are), and what to do with her repackage album. She literally threw a solo concert for the fans during this quarantine life because we can't meet her offline. She threw a new song before her concert and the concert itself was just mesmerizing. So versatile and so much content was included which literally everything you could wish for in a concert was all in there. Or actually more than what we thought would be in it. I just wanted to mention something, the MV starts off as black & white with a bit of a haze, even her dress has no color, (from 0:00-1:39). This depicts sadness & loneliness, probably when she lost her love for the 1st time. After that colors are beginning to show up slowly, we can now see the color of her dress but they are faint (from 1:44-2:10), this part tells us how she tried to move on with life. But there is still a bit of haze in the back and lights are moving at random making you blind, we see Byul sitting on the stairs confused (from 2:11-3:03). By the end of the video, the real colors are fully back, which depicts Byul has recovered and finally moving forward in life, that is the present time. The colors are prominent than before and no random light flashes. We all knew this song was about two lovers and some parts of the song probably depict Byul's early life but the way she told the story in this video, my goodness🤩🤩. Her mind is so beautiful, I always liked her way of expressing music. I have so much respect for this woman🥰.
