Totally agree about the waffle rubber alot more comfortable than hole rubber. Am new to steeldive and am really impressed with their remakes have tuna sd1975 with nato band skx007 and a sd1952 with nato band probably all i will get but love these designs so got them ware for good. Lepas 7-8 bulan pakai, quality jam nie mmang terbaiklah. Dh guna p terjun, menyelam sungai xda hal, pastu rendam semalaman(lupa ambil sebenarnya 🤣) pun xda hal masih power lgi dan 2 mnggu lepas eksiden motor 60 km/h kut. I recently reviewed the Megalith "canned tuna" which for the £20ish price is one heck of a solid chunk of SS, astonishing lume and allegedly a domed sapphire crystal. I was mightily surprised and wished they had produced an all gold pepsi and a black pvd version. I think Megalith are a brand to watch as their stuff doesn't seem to be insta-junk and the little touches like monogrammed second hands remind me a lot of Invicta in their fledgling days.

Have to be honest. There's a world of difference between Megalith and Steeldive. Megalith is very low quality. I got one myself and just gave it away rather than throw it in the trash. The Steeldive is a very high quality piece. I got one as a gift for my brother, and today just ordered one of the colours, the yellow one today.

These are solid buys, I got mine from a UK distributor, next day delivery. Mine came on a engineering style bracelet. I think it's one of Steeldive's better watches. I didn't really like the lumed bezel and replaced it with a non lumed, pipped ceramic bezel, but I think a stainless steel one looks better (if you can get one that fits) My only complaint is perhaps a little too much AR coating? Other than that, it looks great on a decent bracelet, strap on nato strap. Something of a bargain. Great video thanks.

Ah yes. The AR coating is a bit too much, but better than nothing. I loved the fully lumed bezel, but since it was a bit too thick at 15mm, I've sold it. But a great watch nonetheless. Thanks for watching 👍

Recently bought. Nice watch, beautiful wrist presence, runs well within 5 secs. Excellent specs. Lume bezel a bonus as is the sapphire. Great value for price. Just some very minor negatives. A touch heavy, bezel action a bit soft and not easy to grip. Shroud could be 1mm thinner to slightly reduce weight and size. The rubber band it comes with is stiff, unwearable and just garbage. I've got it on the mesh bracelet which looks amazing. Overall for the money, a real winner.

Waalaikumussalam. You meant on the Heimdallr right? Yes, the crown doesn't pop out because the crown spring is not strong enough. But some of my Seikos had the same issue, so not necessarily a big deal if you ask me. Thanks for watching 👍

I have ordered three Tuna from steeldive, one is the bronze and two of them exactly the same you presented in this review. The bronze will be my daily beater the steel ones for sale with some profit to make cheaper the bronze one. It is a common belief that Steeldive is a good quality watch in comparison to other Chinese microbrands like Heimdallr. Based on my personal experience Heimdallr has better quality components than Steeldive especially with the higher quality bracelets they provide with their watches. The only reason why is my keeper bronze is from Steeldive because Heimdallr has no bronze Tuna with black ceramic bezel which I prefer.

@@NMwatch No, I don't feel so. It has the rubber strap so it is lighter than stainless steel with the bracelet. I never compared the watch heads without straps and bracelets though.

Picked one up off of Ali. Black, sterile dial, with steel bracelet. The bracelet looks nice, but is garbage. Know right away you will need to figure out another band option for the watch, but with drilled lugs, it is easy to remove one. Mine says "MarineMaster" which is fortunate, some are now being shipped out with "MarineEngineer". It looks Seiko, has Seiko guts, and is well put together. Bezel action is clean, and it all lines up well. All the surfaces look clean, lume is good enough, not much to complain about for $111 US. Because the lugs are buried under the case, working a NATO band is going to be difficult. Better to pick up a 22mm two-piece band.

Yup. That's why I went for the rubber strap version, which is so stiff and I didn't even bother to wear it at all. LOL 😂. If you want to use a thicker single piece Nato, you'd better get yourself some bent spring bars as well. I know, it worked for me at least. Thanks for watching bro 👍

@@francescoluongo3284 for me, it's always going to be the stainless steel case, as I'm no longer a fan of PVD black coating on a watch. I swap straps on my watches frequently, so I need the watch case to be as versatile as possible. So if you are not like me, then black PVD is the way to go. Happy hunting man!

Excellent review. I was looking to get a yellow dial diver and when I saw that Steeldive made a yellow SD1975 on a yellow rubber strap I ordered it straight away. It has just arrived in the country, just waiting for it to clear customs. Can't wait. The lume looks even better than I expected it to be, definitely up there with my other Seiko's and Heimdallr Monster for brightness! €98 including the import tax I'll pay, can't go wrong at that price! BTW, have you tried removing the shroud to see what's underneath??🤔🙂

Hey man. I tried to remove the shroud once. But I couldn't do it because the hex screw shape was not really that good (the inner hole is not hexagonal enough to fit the tools that I used). So I never really tried after that 😅. Thanks for watching bro 👍

@@lns5170 Oh my. This is a difficult question to answer. Honestly, both are top heavy & tall watches (15mm). So it depends on what strap you put it on, to make sure it doesn't wobble that much. We drive on the right side here, so when I wear the Steeldive Tuna, I've accidentally scratched my car door with the Tuna shroud. I've never had that issue with the Proxima MM300😅. Hope it helps.
