It's not a rare moment, not a rare composition and no rare light. I'm not seeing it either. The same photo has been taken a thousand times with an iPhone and I see the same thing when I walk outside in the evening. But I came to accept KZbinrs handing out handjobs to each other in comments. It comes with the territory. Bad for quality though.

The thing I love about the 6 x 4,5 is also the ratio aspect that is very close to the 35mm. I do not feel like a lost sheep when I switch from my 35 mm to my medium format

Rz67 does have mirror lock up functions. Screw in a cable release into the side of your lens. The mirror is locked up in position after you fire the main shutter, and then you press on the cable release to make the extra exposure. I’ve been doing this for a while and it works very well. You don’t need the “double cable release” thing.

Willem Verbeeck The 120 film was originally designed to give eight 6X9 negatives (8-on-120), to give compactness and greater film economy, cameras were made with two red windows giving 16 6X4.5 negatives (16-on-120). With a more modern camera like this, there's no need to use red windows to locate the frames, but Mamiya (along with others) decided to take 15 exposures on each roll, to give greater spacing between the frames. For mounted colour transparencies it is all very well, but it can make negative filing tricky: a negative filing sheet made for 120 cut into four lengths would easily accommodate each length with two 6X9, three 6X6, or four 6X4.5 as long as the 6X4.5 is shot as 16-on; but each strip of Mamiya 645 negatives, if as four frames, would be too long to fit comfortably, a factor to consider.

Hey man just thought I would give you a shout and let you know that the RZ67 can mirror lock up, it’s done through attaching a cable release to the lens, then firing the trigger on the body, you then can activate the leaf shutter with the cable release making the camera have a “mirror lock up”!! Literally got the RZ67 because of your videos keep up the insanely high quality of work your putting out!!!!

The Mamiya 645 Super is prone to the mirror box damper snapping off, rendering the camera inoperable. Some internal plastic parts they used in the 80s are now deteriorating. I recommend the Mamiya 645 Pro or Mamiya 645 ProTL as they used newer plastics.

Never having owned anything but Hasselblads, I am intrigued by the 35mm-like moves you're pulling while taking portraits. As much as I love my Hasselblad-setup, I still feel my movement is restricted when using it. Probably partly down to the WLF, partly the inflexible format and perhaps partly down to the lack of internal meter... Interesting video. Food for thought for us medium format shooters.

@Arildhgs I had used a Hasselblad 500 C/M for decades. The best thing about shooting with it was that one didn't have to not hold it differently with portrait and landscape shoots. DIY grid on focusing screen with artist translucent tape would help in cropping. I also had a set of useful accessories such as meter prism, Polaroid Back (for preview), meter knob, quick winding crank and quick focus handle.
