Just recently discovered your channel. Really like those images. I also shoot film. Medium and large format. I tend toward B&W so the black and white one really caught my eye. Look forward to checking out more of your content.

Thomas Popple thanks for watching. I have a few black and white videos posted and I have some more coming up in the future. Have you tried shooting with Velvia 50 and converting to B&W? It seems to convert really well for me.

Hi mate, love your videos. Just wanted to ask about that reciprocity scale you have taped to the back of the camera. Does that change for different films or do you use that for all films?
@StephenMilner4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. It does change for different films but not by much. Best to check the data sheets for the film you are using.

Thanks for asking. I work in construction as a project manager. I do photography and make these videos on the weekends and on holidays. I will be going full time in 2 years when the project I am working on finishes.

honest question: why shoot on film if you end up scanning anyway?
@StephenMilner4 жыл бұрын
Each type of film has its own personality. With film I put the film in the camera and the only settings that I need to think about are shutter speed and aperture. It Buy a cheap film camera and spend a week shooting some film. Check out this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZWreKKfoKeUZ6c
