Let’s see, your asking who sang it better, Meryl is an excellent actor, not known for her singing and was 67 at the time, Lily is in her lat to early 20 -30’s old and a singer, so there is no comparison, I believe they both did excellent, I didn’t even know Meryl could sing, so it’s truly not a even comparison…but I wish they could make another, they keep me hopeful about life and happy, not to many things do these days.

A huge difference is the ages of the actors they are quite a bit older 10 years is a big difference. Merly was 71 in 2nd one. Amanda 22 and 32. Pierce was 65 in the second movie, Colin 57, Stellan 67, Julie 68, Christine 66, Dominic 40 all in the 2nd movie. Lily 29, Jeremy 28, Josh 24, Hugh 33, Jessica 32, Alexa 23, Cher 72. Age has a lot to do with the difference between the songs. When you compare the same person singing in both. It is really hard to compare two separate cast singing the songs also age is a factor but the people are different. No matter which casts you look at the songs are all performed beautifully. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
