Killin it in the kitty litter! I think the windslayer mutes out some of the gimbal motor noise, but not all of it. My hero session rear mic would pick up all the evo ss noise even when I tried muffling it.

I haven't with the hero 5 or hero 6. I run the hero 4 with the gimbal now and the gimbal noise is barely noticeable compared to the other.

Have you got an external mic hooked up to the GoPro? because the audio sounds great
