Police are doing their jobs (for the most part). They are catching criminals. They know who they are and where to find them in many cases. Lots are caught on cameras already. (More cameras on trains will make little difference). The problem is the system. In some cases felons are released in less than 24 hours with little or no bail, and a desk appearance ticket. A lot of times for what should be considered 'violent crimes'!
