In July 2019, Wise purchased a condominium overlooking Central Park. He is the only one of the five who chose to continue to reside in New York City after his release. During the covid-19 pandemic, Wise helped provide sustenance to senior residents in Harlem.

Not trying to be rude but he knew that Korey Wise had like learning difficulties and stuff and he acted the exact way.❤️ I’ve watched When They See Us I was legit crying especially in Korey wise’s part, it was so heartbreaking💔. sometimes wish i can just go to the past even if they already suffered and changed this mess!💔💔💔😔 It really hurt more as a black person as well.

I just finished it, 4 years late. Holy HELL was the series some of the most intensely emotional tv I've ever watched, but it is such an important watch. Everyone should know these mens' stories. The injustice is simply stunning in the worst way possible, and yet these 5 souls rose above everything when they could have EASILY held so much anger and bitterness against the world but instead became incredibly honourable people. I'm honestly blown away by all of the performances in this series from all actors, but Jharrel Jerome certainly was the stand out. I'm still speechless from the last episode... Bravo Jharrel 👏 Extremely well deserved and earned. I'm definitely going to watch Moonlight this week as I've heard really good things about that as well. Can't wait to see what else lies ahead for this young man!!
