Man Attempts To Escape Police By Jumping Out Of Boat

On July 3rd, 2023, Three FWC Officers were on vessel patrol in Polk County, Florida. When they were contacted by a Marine Deputy from the Polk County Sheriffs Officer. Stating that he was with a vessel with a potentially intoxicated operator on lake eloise. Shortly after arriving Officer Carter observed a nearly empty bottle of liquor and a strong smell of intoxicants coming from the operator's mouth. While being transported the suspect attempted to escape police by jumping from the speeding patrol vessel.

@@monkeyphoenix2178well, you see howwwww…he tried to escape and fight later? Police analysis videos always criticize how slow they put cuffs on or how much they struggle trying. If you watch a lot of body cams a lot of the times when they fight back are when they have their hands behind their back and after a second or two they change their mind and fight. When they first approach they don’t know they’re going to jail, so when they go to arrest they always go for the cuffs while telling them. You leave a dude uncuffed and now he has the whole time to process he’s going to jail while fully unrestrained and sees a chance to succeed and desperately take it. Not a single reason to leave someone uncuffed

If you go out on your boat and you bring alcohol, you should keep it in the original half gallon bottle and place it in full view right next to your center console within hands reach of the captain so when the police pull you over they can clearly see it. That way when they suspect you of being under the influence of alcohol while driving your boat you can completely deny it. As you can see in this video, it works every time, all the time none of the time. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

There was a time when nobody enforced drunks on the water and I worked for a Marina and would tow boats after they crashed into something, its kind of nice seeing police putting a stop to reckless drinking because half the time boat operators could barely talk or walk and acted like there's no laws on the water and can do what they want, half the time they would get hostile trying to help them.
