I completely agree! The little "fairy houses and cottages" are so special and adorable!🐭🐁😻❤️❤️ Sadly, we can't allow mice in our garden because of our cats but in one of our previous homes when we didn't have any cats for a short while, there was a mouse who used to live there and would come up and eat the marmalade on my dad's toast when he was on the computer! He wasn't scared of us at all! Rats and mice sadly do get a lot of bad and negative press and I don't know why. They are only trying to survive, the same as all of us. If you see them for who they truly are, like Gez, bless him, here does, you will see that they are just as worthy of love, respect and admiration as any other animal is!

I have a mouse which has bonded with both humans and our 4 cats, he's hilarious and actually "play fights" with the cats. We actually got him as a "rescue" after his den flooded 4 months ago, one of the cats brought him in when he was just days old and we took care of him, and he's grown to not see cats as predators, and the cats all love to spend time with him.

haha my nephew calls my place the "mouse house". They get stuck in my vacuum cleaner and start crying for me to help them get out. Just took some ingenuity to make everything mouse proof, now they just hangout behind the fridge or at night they go on and out of my closet

Before my husband's stroke, he spent years building a little village from bricks for a family of voles. Our dogs would spend hours at the window watching them. Our neighbors hated us for "feeding the rats..." 😂

A while back I noticed a mouse outside my work. I started putting out food for her, and as long as I was standing still she would continue her feast. I also started talking to her and soon there was 4-5 mice out there munching away. And that was the highlight of every day at work. But since the winter came I haven't seen them and it breaks my heart. I really hope they will pop out again as it gets warmer, cause they are amazing little creatures. And this video made me so happy. They really are adorable and I cant understand why people dislike them so much. Some put mousetraps around the door to the building but have no worry, I have deactivated them all =D

Back in the 70's, in college,I put my pet mouse in an aquarium with lid and put a log-cabin birdhouse in it for a home. It was really darling. There were windows and a chimney that opened out.

I love the fact that they have now made it their home, they know they are welcome. People don't realise how intelligent these animals really are and they are very healing in nature. They do communicate in a peculiar way but they are super'intelligent'. I got a bit surprised once, when living in London, knew they lived under the floorboards in my bedsit, the landlord wanted to rid them but I 'spoke' to them and told them they needed to leave or die. When resting one day on the floor I could clearly hear them in my head speaking, then they left for good, they are a good omen. They are also very tidy. This is what people miss, we are the messy ones, the animals clean up after us. x

It's about the setting to me, mice or rats running under your feet in a house might be scary for some people, but in a garden where they have their own village they become very magical. I already love mice myself but no doubt this will change many hearts, it's a wonderful thing he has going on here.

I am so glad you posted this. I can’t tell you how hard it is to talk to people sometimes about certain animals and tell them that they have hearts and souls, and they should be left alone, treated nicely and loved just like everybody else. People have perception about things sometimes and it’s very hard to change it, so maybe posting that video will make people think twice about mice and putting traps for them. They look so adorable and you’re doing a great thing, so thank you so much. It’s a beautiful video.

I love mice, but depending on their situation they can carry/spread all sorts of diseases. It doesn't look like this man handles them, and it seems that they have enough very healthy things to eat so that they don't have to scavenge. Those factors help, but, that mouse village over time has to fill up with their poop, so that kind man has to clean it out every so often exposing him to hantavirus. Also, I would hope that those cute mice stay out of his house, as if they have an unspoken understanding like in the storybooks, but in having so many so close to his home that isn't likely. Still, it is heartwarming to see these moments of harmony in God's creation.

I love this man's mouse village and mouse friendships! I once knew a guy who kept a tank of mice to feed to his snakes. He finally decided to get rid of the snakes and raise mice for fun and companionship - they were so much smarter, more interesting, and much cuter! I don't want to upset anyone, but people who raise carnivorous snakes may want to think about this.

Thank you so much for this video. I have a phobia of rodents, but slowly, watching videos like this has made me realize that they are beautiful and amazing animals, just like any other. We should respect and show kindness and not kill animals regardless of whether we are frightened or uncomfortable around them.
