I don't get jealous easily. That TV really did it though. I hear the words "LG..." I'm like psh so? Then you say, "65 inch" and I'm like, "mine's a 60, so what?" then you say, "OLED" and I got lightheaded. I'm fucking pissed. So I pretty much hate you now. You'll have to review Nightmare Before Christmas this coming holiday season to make it up to me. it BETTER be good!
@digitalblasphemy11009 жыл бұрын
pewol Nah, that didn't do it for me. 4K doesn't really do anything for me either. 1080p is plenty good for me. (for now) OLED is amazing to me. That's what I want. I have a plasma which is pretty comparable. I am just waiting on the price to go down on OLED. I care way more about the colors and contrast than the resolution. I disagree with Chris about film grain. I turn off everything on my TV that "helps" the image. All that shit is nonsense to me and is a waste of someones time for having come up with the technology.

cool tour. awesome tv (crown jewel is an apt description) and great background stories to all your posters and collectibles. I am glad you and your wife share so many interests. nice lights on the stairs, too.

Talks about film grain like it's a bad thing...
@moviemetalhead9 жыл бұрын
Ikr, last time I checked lots of movies were filmed on 35mm film, hence the grain. It is a shame though, Chris is missing out on alot of great movies if 'grain' is so bothersome.

+moviemetalhead And then goes on to talk about watching the 3D blu-ray of Predator which is notoriously DNR'd beyond any rational comprehension. I really enjoy his reviews and the newer model flat panel version of that TV is on my wish list (the one with HDMI 2.0a capability, which Chris's will never have), but his comment on film grain was unfortunate considering Casino Royale is a beautiful transfer.

+Nathaniel Matta Agreed. Although I never did like 3D home theater technology. Sure it's a nice thing to enjoy going to the theater to see, once in a while, but 3D movies at home just feels like a fad, just like it was back when it was introduced, it comes and goes. I'm on the market for a new flat screen too. Debating between Samsung or LG..

+Nathaniel Matta Btw I too enjoy Chris' reviews. Just like a little constructive criticism as well.

2 minutes on your TV?!...dude, WTF. And, not a single wide shot of the room so the viewer can get a sense of the layout??! Get it together, man.

+Mads Rasmussen Dude, the very least he could do is talk about it for 2 minutes, it was FREE. No one would turn down that offer.

It's no longer a man cave when you say "And my wife likes it too so it works out"

It’s so cute how much he talks about his wife! And how he lets her put her stuff in the man cave. 🤗
