After a pretty bad Champions League Campaign , with 1 draw and 3 losses in the last 4 games , City were left needing a win to merely get through to the play offs for the round of 16.
The Primemutton, back from another poor away performance in Paris, but something a bit better against Chelsea , had anticipated a tense night on the last night against Brugge ever since shovelling away a 3-0 lead to Feyenoord all the way back on matchday 5.
A tense night it was , and City really did put the fans through the mill at the Etihad.

As predicted a sweaty tense evening, with City (and Club Brugge) scraping through to the play offs for the round of 16. While the old format would have benefited City, the new format provides more excitement earlier in the competition. As for the next round , it's hard to see this City team getting past Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, especially if we have no right back.

Great vlog as always PM. Surely Pep can see that Gundo and KDB don't have the legs anymore, and that we're so much better with pace in the team. Hopefully we'll see a forward line of Haaland, Marmoush and Savinho play against Arsenal, but who know's he'll probably be cautious again !!

Pep's safe selection when playing all the oldies and slowest from the start made predictable viewing in the first half but to give him credit he changed things at half time so that's something to be grateful for. Phil's best position is central and I don't ever want to see him on the wing again. Great goal from Kova and Savinho is now a real game changer, Stones had one of his best games in a while and although Nunes fluffed his line he brings an attacking threat with his strong running from the back. What a pearl we have in Gvardiol, he's a special talent and has recovered well from his dip in form. Looking forward to seeing the new lads playing once again in the league games and let's hope City can bring that elusive DM in we need before the window closes on Monday. I'm glad there were no casualties with the fire at the kiosk and I wonder how it started? Very odd. As for the food and drink segment, excellent as always Mutton, nice to hear there's another establishment that's got LB on tap. Great vlog, enjoyed it. Come on City 🩵⚽🏆
