Ok Muttonistas , you can't win them all, you can't win a stack of trophies every season and you can't always get a result when it comes to difficult away games. Yes PSG played really well, but some of City's passing, ball retention , and general defending was shocking. I predicted once the 3-0 lead at home to Feyenoord was squandered that a sweaty final game against FC Brugge awaited us , and that's exactly how it's turned out.

Well yes it’s the mutton way. I usually give my post match thoughts over a pint as well. My vlogs are a bit different as they show the fan experience having a good day out while people have the chance to scroll to the football if they want to. Plenty of vloggers out there who just do the footy and get their videos out very quickly for those who prefer that.

Between 75 and 85 depends a bit on whether places like Hong Kong and Greenland count. I could have and could still visit every one but I can’t see the food in East Timor and the Central African Republic being vlog worthy , also a lot of places I’d like to visit , I can’t because I’d lose my US visa waver status as a result .

mutton, how do you know what wine pairs with what and how did you learn?

A bit by trial and error. Takes a while , and asking for advise if you’re not sure. A fair bit of it is according to your own taste. If you like red wine for example and like fish go for a red fish and a light red . And if you like white wine and meat , go for pork and something oaky . I know some people who only have white wine and will have it with steak , or like heavy reds and will even have one with grilled white fish. If they like it they like it . I would say don’t be rigid but also don’t believe the urban myth about being able to get great wines for £5. If spending more isn’t in one’s budget beer a better bet with the food imo. The first bad wine experience I had many years ago was having strong blue and other cheese with an expensive heavy red , it made both the cheese and the wine taste less good . The first good experience was making blue cheese pasta with a recommended lighter Italian red , this experience was exactly the opposite, the wine tasted quite ordinary without enough flavour until I started eating the pasta , which transformed it completely. So my advice is to read a bit and then see if you like the match , the wine experts don’t have access to your taste buds . And don’t be rigid about grape varieties.

Don’t agree with fobbing off the CL , extremely unlikely to win it , but you have to try and the new signings will be better for the experience even if it’s another pear shaped calamity . I have no idea how good the Uzbek chap and Reis are , or Marmoush for that matter, but they’re young and quick. We still have Ake Stones Gvardiol Dias De Bruyne Rodri Bernardo Foden and Haaland as a nucleus of a team when they’re fit , so I reject the comparison with united .
