Not much usually happens in January. I wouldn't be surprised at a couple of loan signings from some of our other clubs maybe, but permanent deals are very difficult in January and it's also difficult for a player to come into a new club in a new country and hit the ground running.

Didn't set the world in fire earlier in the season but did well in the last match, and we really need a couple of players we can bring in to ease the pressure on the current first 11 though. Let's see what happens today and in the next few weeks. I wouldn't expect him to leave this window.

Nice report. I've seen a few of your videos, always very well summed up, no false information or sensationalist nonsense, no silly intro and annoying music, well done lad. I subscribe to a couple of City channels, I don't have a great deal of spare time to go through them all but I've added yours, easy decision, nice, relaxed style. Guys, VERY difficult to do anything in the January window, just persuading anybody to uproot immediately to come to a very cold and soggy Manchester at this time of the year can't be easy, let alone anything else. I never rad too much into reports, if rival clubs are interested you're not going to get any information from City and the club always play their cards close to their chest in any event. WE may get one minor signing, maybe a couple but I would be surprised if it's anything more than that. We've got enough pedigree in the bank now though for players to want to come, as well as the funds to do the deals.

Loaning or selling McAtee with a buy back clause to one of the big Germans would be ideal. Keeping him away from our PL opponents, if his performance exceeds in the Bundesliga triggering the buy back clause seems like a great deal. Marmoush sounds promising.

I do we hope we have contingencies in place for all the players were being linked with. If no Marmoush deal in Jan, I do we will look elsewhere. Kudus whose being linked with us for summer move, that may be brought forward and we sign versatile Haaland alternative like Cunha in the summer. As for 6, Kimmich is the easiest deal to do. Bruno G can be done but Newcastle are overvaluing him right now. Zubimendi doesnt have the recovery pace but I would still consider.

Just seen, he's echo'd what Alex Crook said last night. I don't expect movement from City to Frankfurt until they have an agreement with Marmoush's camp, they are talking but not agreed on anything yet so I don't expect Marmoush's camp to speak to Frankfurt until City have an agreement with the agent of Marmoush. Transfer fun and games. Should be movement over the coming days though if City are serious about making this signing.
