I could not agree more. Before Postecoglou, Spurs fans were always telling everyone they wanted their team to play free flowing attacking game. And people trying to frame it like everyone was the same as the idiot fan arguing with ange . Reality is most of wanted us to do our best and play well but ultimately not hand arsenal the league. It was actually the weirdest feeling but honestly, when son went through I shat my pants and I was so nervous all the way through . Can’t help that , but I’m local , the rivalry hits different . @@dwill6893 where were they , feeling awkward af not knowing how to be for just genuinely wanted spurs to play well but not wanting arsenal to win the league. That’s just how they feel .. some fans went overboard of course but most just didn’t know how to feel . And if people can’t understand that that’s fine but don’t tell season ticket holders they’re not real fans. A lot of us have a very different lived experience of the rivalry. I don’t blame fans from other parts of the country or world to understand it but it’s a bit much to be telling season ticket holders howthey should feel and who’s a real fan or not. We are all a family , everyone should respect each others opinions and realise how nuanced it all is , how many different factors there are for people feeling how they do that there are and respect them without descending into this ,,,I’m a real fan , you’re not,, toxic shit .

It’s a really weird position for a manager to see that however. City were there for the taking and if the fans were behind the team it would have made a difference. Everyone was missing Ange’s point. This man doesn’t care about the rivalry you can say whatever you want but atleast on the field don’t cheer against the team. That just puts them down when they want top 4. And the people inside the club should have his same views not tell him to go lose. That’s what’s frustrating him.
