Keep on going strong. Some people are just shallow, and we can't choose whether or not this type of people are in our family. I'm sure you will find the strenght and happiness in your life. Tough situations can be crippling and managing them is hard, but they never stay forever, although it sometimes looks hopeless, there's the light. That's at least what I believe, as someone who struggles with suicidal thoughts (the irony 😂).

Loren, you were so brave to not give up on life. I will never complain again about road construction in my state of Massachusetts using jersey barriers. I was trained to use a forklift back in my working day's but self-preservation kicks in automatically when you see a vehicle coming right at you and your forklift is falling towards the ground. I’m glad I seen this video. I was feeling down on myself lately because I had a stroke 10 years ago and I lost feeling on my left side and can’t work full time. Recently I took a seizure and I can’t drive for at least 6 month. I feel terrible for my wife because I can’t support her and our kids the way I feel I should. I think the same things… she deserves better, I am not enough… etc. I hope you can be happy and overcome the mental struggles you face. You aren’t alone! 🙏🏻

A little over 10 years ago my stepdad and I took care of my mom who had inoperable esophageal cancer. We just took it a day at a time which is really all you can do. I can't imagine what you both go through when times get tough but you both radiate strength and resilience. I love that. I've only found your channel about a year ago but I'm glad I did. This was a nice 5 yr q&a. Considering your age when all the trauma hit, I will say again how grounded and mature you both are. Your relationship is normal as others, but I would say much stronger than most. Love what Sabia said about therapy. "It's your time to be selfish." Such a transparent and honest perspective. They are both wise beyond their years. OK. Completely different topic and hope it is ok to say. German Shepherds are high energy dogs and need at least two hours per day of activity outside of the house. They are work dogs and literally shepherds by nature. Was there a specific reason y'all chose that breed? If y'all are open to other breeds maybe more suited to a less active lifestyle there are companion breeds that are excellent; i.e. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, English Toy Spaniel, Pug, Japanese Chin, Maltese are the most common. If you do want a protector but a smaller breed y'all can't go wrong with a couple of Chihuahuas. Hope I'm not crossing any boundaries here but just, hopefully, offering some advice you might consider. Blessings to you both.
