This yard was getting really overgrown but nobody answered when I knocked on the door. I spoke with the neighbor across the street and she told me she saw a uhaul a couple of weeks ago and hasn't seen him since. So, I decided to clean up this overgrown mess and make it look better for the neighborhood!

Great job Spencer! Side Note: one of my friends bought a home with her husband last month. Their backyard was overgrown (above the waist high). 3 weeks ago they cleared everything and it turned out they had poison ivy. The former homeowner did not tell them. They had rashes everywhere, and horrible itching. She developed a fever and was vomiting and had to take time off from work to recover. This tidbit of info is for all the people that ask why Spencer doesn’t clear a whole yard when there is poison ivy.

R , one Do in for Poison and ivy. Make sure the washing machine is cleaned out. Because when you walk in the house you're going to strip right now. Go take a shower and warm Shower start at the top. With dawn soap. Work down your body. Okay dry off. If you buy yourself go ahead and start the washer. And when you're done with the washing, your clothes. Wash the washer again empty. Also if you can wash your shoes. Wash them with your clothes. Family is so allergic that all go to the hospital.

Beautifying the street didn't seem to matter.....I called them lazy. lol :)

Again you do an excellent job mowing and trimming. But so far as detailing the yard improvements can be made. You need an attachment on your Hustler mower to collect grass clippings or get another mower. Lawn would look much neater if you got up grass clippings. 21:28, 21:45, 21:52, 22:08.

Hi Spencer. I don't know why.. but what the neighbor said got me worried about the man.. she said he fixed up the house and then there was a U-Haul truck and now she hasn't seen him.. I wish she had ASKED HIM if he's leaving or what!?! Spencer, on your brief check of the yard if you see any poison ivy or other poison plants this would be good time to be able to switch shirts to prehaps a light weight long sleeve cotton t-shirt and a plastic face mask plus of course gloves for safety! This type of plant gives off a fine mist all around it so touching it is not required to be infected! Please be safe out there!

The yard looks great as always. I love that you are so good about attention to detail like clearing the ramps for the sidewalks so they are usable again. I am curious where this is. I notice most of the houses seem to be single story and as I get older I really am not liking lots of steps. Where I live, everything is either two story or split level so lots of stairs. I am guessing somewhere in the Midwest?
