I have a quick question, I’ve seen you use a strimmer to buzz chain link fences to get rid of plant life on them many times without issue, every time I’ve tried this the line has caught and it throws the strimmer into the air rather violently. I own a two stroke petrol strimmer it’s fairly heavy duty, is it the different type of strimmer you use or just higher skill level and practice?

There is a poison ivy spray you can get .
@mlopez28032 жыл бұрын
There is a spray that kills poison ivy/sumac/oak. but you have to spray it and let it set. Be very careful, even if its dead, you can still get the oils on your skin/clothing/tools. Absolutely do not burn it, just throw it with your brush pile. If you find yourself touching any parts of a poison plant while working outside. finish what you are doing, then immediately get showered with cold water & Dawn dish soap (to include any and all clothing you were wearing to include shoes & eyewear). Wash all contaminated items in cold water & high heat. Lastly wipe down all yard tools with cold water mixed with Dawn & allow to dry fully. I have some that I encounter in my own yard and in the community areas I help with, I learned after twice (in 10 years) getting a serious infection (required steroids & prescription creams) from the blisters, not to mess around with the poison plants. I still work outside & just ensure I am cautious and wash myself, clothing & tools thoroughly with cold water & Dawn. This is a reminder I need to buy more poison spray!
