Man Eaters, Denison Dam Catfish

Went down to Denison Dam on Lake Texoma and decided to do a little fishing. Brought the stuff for stripers and the catfish were biting. We got over there a little late. They said earlier that morning the stripers were biting on topwater. We plan on going back while they have the gates open. I feel like I'm watching Dieter Melhorn Catfishing with these guys catching catfish. We watched them catch 3 big ones right in a row. Please check out my son's channel. I Grew up in Sherman,TX. I'm 55 now, but I remember all the Fishing we did there!!! Snagging Paddlefish, (Spoonbill)... Huge Stripers, and Huge Catfish!! My Grandpa "Babe" and my Uncle Eddie taught me Everything. I hope to go back there again.

At the Santee Campground tackle shop/convenience store, there's a picture of a catfish on the ground beside a VW Beetle that's almost as long as the car. There are also stories of divers working on the locks rhat came up and refused to go back down because they said there are catfish big enough to swallow them.

No I’m using the Insta 360 X4 camera on a 3 meter invisible selfie stick. You will see its shadow occasionally

@@crazyjoutdoors if you decide to get a camera. I highly recommend this camera. I have a Sony Handycam GoPro 11 and iPhone 14 Plus and a 4k drone. All are replaced with this one camera in most instances.

That catfish was prob 38lbs or so

I watched that man pull out 3 in a row that was the middle one. The first one was a little smaller that last one was way bigger
