Man Finds God's Plan To Reset Earth, But No One Believes Him

Curtis, a father and husband, is starting to experience bad dreams and hallucinations. Assuming mental illness, he seeks medical help and counseling. However, fearing the worst, he starts building an elaborate and expensive storm shelter in their backyard. This storm shelter threatens to tear apart his family, threatens his sanity and his standing in the community, but he builds it to save his family's life.

U should watch the entire movie No breaking down of good movies will do it justly. Michael Shannon is a great actor, I also love the movie "Midnight special" that the same director to "Take shelter" did & same composer to the soundtracks i believe. Midnight special has dope beats love that theme. Adam Driver was also in the movie Midnight Special, he did great as well

The purpose of cutting the story off toward the end is allow the audience to come up with their own conclusions about the story, the story is didactic meaning it was created to teach a lesson, the lesson in this case is to "follow your gut instinct about danger".

God wrote a book this one time, and everybody believes in it. *This is unrealistic. (There are also different versions of the book; some people have translated those different versions differently; some people interpret those different translations differently- and mostly: none of them agree with anybody else AT ALL) Honestly, one of the best fiction novels I’ve ever read! The person who wrote it must’ve been taking some crazy drugs. 10/10 to the Bible

I watched this thinking it was following how a person would start suffering mental illness and suffering from it. Which BTW is true about mental illness in a family. The boss firing him knowing his daughter needed the surgery was silly. In real life you'd have to be the most heartless boss and at least wait til after the surgery. So I am following this story and the ENDING which is just ridiculous... I don't like films that delve into a serious issue like mental illness and then shock you with an ending that goes off into the Supernatural. I know this film was highly rated which is why I watched it but I disagree...
