We are building a platform where businesses and clients meet without any intermediary. A place where clients can find any business in The Gambia and have access to contact them directly including all the details about the business, what they sell, contact details, and location including Google Maps direction integration. This will eliminate the hassles you face with middlemen having a chance of overcharging and taking a cut off your hard-earned money.
In order, for us to achieve this, we will need support to FastTrack the process. We appreciate it if you would join our Patreon to make this a success.

I think the government are forgetting that people still need to make a living ! Things can’t just change overnight. They want taxi’s to move but don’t supply an area for them to park . Other countries have ares through out towns where taxi’s 🚕 can park awaiting customers . A better start would be to clear the thousands of rubber tyres laying all over the place , clear the litter and rubble from the streets and supply waste bins that get emptied regularly.

Yes,we're crying out for a clean Gambia, but firstly how to educate people about rubbish-free roads and a nice environment for everyone. It'll take a generation to adapt

This whole idling and wasting time on the streets is a result of lack of high unemployment rate in the country..When we create equal employment for people to work in industrial development areas as unskilled workers like mechanical jobs, welders, car repairs, car wash, factory 🏭 workers, etc.in addition to providing Technical and Engineering companies for our youths and along side with what we always have which is our private and public sector companies as skilled workers all working from 9am to 5pm, only then we will begin to see less loitering and soliciting in traffic at night time because people would be too tired to go hanging outside and would prefer spending time with friends and their families. You can obviously tell people have nothing to do with their time in their hands and prefer spending wasteful time outside either by selling or trying to get themselves into trouble with the Law..There are always solutions to these things if we only take our time to think a little harder unless we prefer chaos, frustration, difficulties in chasing people around by making our lives complicated and creating disorderly conduct in public by failing to set boundaries and have proper method of organizations for people to abide by rules and regulations for good public conduct in complying and maintaining Peace in Public Places.

True statement and I totally agree with what you said and the proof is in the details..As for me I do my best to give them constructive feedback and hoping they will take what they see best for the public interest and how to go about implementing the ideas...I know my people they don't take criticism well but they strive on good suggestions..The question is, would they apply the method or not and do they have the resources or the funds budgeted for it..

"Create employment ?" Welders, car repairs, carpentry workshops on the side of the road training young people who have no other opportunities and providing good solid metal work, woodwork etc for sale have now been destroyed. Yes, allegedly they may have been "illegal" but they have provided a service both in equipping young people with skills and to the local community in terms of their craft. Maybe someday in the the future when one of these rich people want a metal gate, they will remember when the craft was destroyed. They can look back and remember how nice the empty space looked afterwards though. Some of these workshops had existed for years and I never heard anyone complaining about them.

@@KT111 I couldn't agreed with you more..I believe all comments made here has some valid points and hopefully will be helpful moving forward..The damaged is already been done and we can only try to reiterate and encourage more solutions hoping to reach the right people to take a decisive actions as we are dealing with a very delicate situation here that can go all the way to left or to the right..The complacency and the compromising state of our nature as a Nation has led us to this stage where everyone feels or thinks there are no Laws or rules and regulations in the Gambia and therefore is every man's or woman's Island and one can do as they pleases without facing any accountability or consequences of their actions..Sometimes things don't always work out the way we plan things in life , but we lived and we learned that everything has it's time and will surely serve it's purpose when the time comes and here is the results of that dilemma people are now dealing with..I hope it will all balance out at the end ..I am a strong believer in positive outcome..

Sometimes, I wonder how things are done here. How can the government implement Operation Clear the Road without a backup team to ensure the adherence and effectiveness of the program? Did they think people would just fold and comply?

How hard is it to organize a country with 2.5 to 3 Million people? NYC 🗽 has 8M and people come and go everywhere all day long and police is able to do their job. Tourist LOVE Gambia… If everyone act right EVERYONE can make money. 💰

Can anyone enlighten me? Several times I have rented apartments from Gambians and paid the rent money(several months) directly into their British bank accounts or third person British bank account. Is this a tax dodge ? should I be reporting it to anybody ?

@@seeker5968you say on your KZbin page "say no to child abuse in any shape or form". Where do you think the money comes from to prosecute child abuse cases ? Years ago when I stayed in an apartment ,a U.N. worker was concerned that a Gambian child was being sexually exploited in one of the other apartments. When they checked it out they were informed that there weren't the resources to pay for an investigation and possible prosecution so nothing was done. In 2019 a UN report talked of the lack of prosecution for child sexual exploitation in Gambia. But yes ,you carry on rudely telling people to" mind their own business" yours is exactly the type of attitude that leads to the continuation of child sexual abuse.

Spot criminals from good peoples??? No one can judge the other but peoples appearances can tell who they are ?? Gambian security services need to do more efforts, too much rough riders on the roads... those who have multiple brains will know I am talking about

edGye-zm6kn 28 seconds ago Fine everyone 7500 dallasi for selling on the road side and 15000 Dallasi to corrupt property owners who construct without permits. The money spent clearing the roads and chasing these criminals could be spent on health care but these people are so selfish. God Bless the task force for their hard work but what a waste of money for the Gambian people. But they can all learn the hard way that crime is crime and Muslims have to be law abiding . Those that are angry don’t know their deen
