In 1705, Alexander Selkirk decided to stay on an island after a disagreement with his Captain. It took 4 years and 4 months until he was found. Initially, he regretted staying behind, but after his ordeal it became the best decision of his life.

A lot of islands have low temperature fluctuations annually. The water keeps it cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Hawaii during the day it averages 85 degrees fahrenheit in summer and 78 degrees fahrenheit in winter.
