I think the old boxes of food packaging was kept so that the children could play shops! Myself and sisters used to play the same with old packaging, we'd also raid my mums kitchen cupboards to use the tins 😅 best days, born in 80s, grew up through the 90s

Lovely throwback video, we all miss Mark! That house had so many things that I recognised from my Grandparents houses, but that stair carpet took me right back. I had the same in my bedroom when I was about 6/7! Wow, lots of memories in this one.

Very, very nice explore David. I was also comfortable thinking it had been abandoned since 1996, then you found that paper & boom - it’s 2008! So nervous when you all went upstairs. I was thinking of those holes in the ceiling. Pretty ingenious putting up that walls to make separate rooms. So excited to see our Mark❤. Thank you for taking us along again, so many vintage things in that house, so sad. I’ll try to patiently wait for the next one, as always, please stay sfae❤

I'm 55 & I've got that same doll you saw halfway up the stairs...she does roly polys, works via a battery bag. Think she was called tippy tumbles. I had the original box up until about 6yrs ago when I binned it, not very clever. Mine still looks pristine. I don't think I played with it much as batteries were expensive back in the day. Think it was mid 70s when I got it off santa lol 😊

24:20 - the little blue, flocked cat !! They were popular in the 1960's and were used as a 'presentation case' for little bottles of perfume, and such, that would sit in between those two vertical pieces in the front. I gave my Mum such a gift back in the day - when I was a kid - but her cat was black, instead of blue. I think it may have been a bottle of 'Evening in Paris' perfume - that seems to ring a bell with me ! Thanks for bringing back that memory, Dave ! :)
