Man Hatched A Swan Egg, Now She Thinks He’s Her Mom | Cuddle Buddies

Jip is a baby swan who thinks her owner Nick is her mom. They swim together, watch TV together and if Nick is ever out of her sight, she will scream and shout. Nick was given a swan egg since the animal rescue could not accept it. And the moment it hatched, he could not believe it. He’s raised Jip to the Swan she is now, however, he does believe that a day will come where she decides to fly off to live her own life.

oh my God , WHAT A WONDERFUL STORY !!!! So many people are so kind hearted and love all creatures ( not crazy about Hyenas) , ,and put themselves out to help an animal, and then you see the products of the other side of “ humanity” and abuse of these innocent creatures . You DA MAN. She will leave and come back to where she was raised for years. Someday a Drake will come with. I had a duckling that I saved from traffic and raised to adult, a long time ago.He came back to plastic pond I had in the backyard for 3 years. Then, one season in the fall he didn't come back. The next year he came back with a mate. It was a family. If you project LOVE and COMPASSION, then that is ALL THAT IS SEEN. TRUTH.

Swans hang out in flocks, I’m not sure if it’s safe for her to go as she has only known you her entire life, maybe do some research in how to release a domesticated swan into the wild before releasing her.

They need to be monitored 24/7. Most shelters don’t have the resources to do so. Edit; I’ve volunteered at a shelter and a wildlife shelter and it’s all intense and you’re completely running behind. It’s still rewarding though.
