@auroraazraelle7 ай бұрын
If you interfere in public, you need a way to get her to a safe place bc you have no idea what worse things he’s doing out of the public eye. They train women to be afraid of this in public bc they tell us we like it and if someone helps us but doesn’t have a plan to follow through afterwards, because they usually are holding something over our heads to harm us, if you aren’t ready to really help us save ourselves, they can just make things so much more horrific, and now we have someone who isn’t understanding what we’re going through either and doesn’t fully understand what they’re doing to us. We deserve survival, always help women. Every situation is different. ALWAYS help them. Just actually be ready and know what it takes and that they might need support actually getting away.
@andrewcolinwilson17 ай бұрын
@@PunchBuggyDreams There is a huge difference between interference and intervention. If you're interfering with other people's business, you're just butting into people's lives but if you're intervening in something like an abusive relationship, then you're not interfering with anyone's business. You're just trying to help somebody.

One time we were waiting for Uber outside a store. We saw when a man was yelling at his wife. My ten-year-old daughter got upset and told me to help her. We saw how someone approached to help her and the guy was super aggressive. The wife told him to relax because everyone was watching him and the most aggressive one became. I walked past them and said to my daughter: See this guy? Never let anyone treat you like that, you deserve respect. And I told the lady not to allow that type of abuse.

In my city, there have been numerous fatal results bcz of good people trying to do the good thing and interfering in other's people's businesses in public. So unless it's me or a loved one being harassed, I would just call the police and let them handle it.

“It’s public”. That expression really pisses me off. Why make the designation? NO ONE woman OR man should be treated like this. In public or otherwise. If they r being this way in public it’ll b way worse in private. Don’t say the reason why ur stepping in is cause it’s being done in public. All that does is make sure they only do it behind closed doors where the other person has no way to get help.

I never blamed anyone for not helping me when I was in an abusive relationship. The times that they did I’d beg them not to. He’d try to attack them and I was always terrified for their safety. I couldn’t leave I couldn’t do anything but I think what would have broke me more than anything is if another person got hurt trying to help me. I’ll never forget the ones that tried. I had 2 officers try to help me and one call me a whore and tell me that I was weak and that I deserved it. It’s so interesting looking back at those times…very painful
