Give me a second to collect myself. - This is THE one song of MJ, that should have the most impact on people, unless they were put on this earth without a soul. - When I approach my mirror image it tells me: You are not doing enough! - My goals are to do more for animal protection rights, hubby and I are into protection of the environment and start on our own property, by not disturbing nature as little as possible. - We are not well off but yet do what is within our means. - If just 1 person reads this, then we are a bit closer to the change. "Man In The Mirror" Short Film was directed, produced and edited by Don Wilson. Don and Michael Jackson developed the idea for the video. Larry Stessel who was Video Commissioner at Epic Records at the time was the Executive Producer. Hello guys I’m crying like a baby here because of this amazing heart wrenching video by Michael and having been a child of the 80s at the primary age of 12, when this song was released, you look at this song and especially the pieces of history in it, and so many influences both good and bad this movie is one of the most wonderful and heart wrenching videos I’ve ever watched and having survived a suicide and coming from a multiracial family, and knowing the influence of Dr. King and Ghandi in this video are even more beautiful and amazing but some of the modern pieces are in there too I really remember baby Jessica and seeing the happy ending and the clips of the farm aid and USA for African people and all that happened during that time was extraordinary at that time even though you didn’t know it at that time some of these events were and are just as relevant today as it was then In today’s age we lost Michael and Diana and witnessed the World Trade Center collapse and be replaced with a new building and we witnessed January six and y2k in the world who knows what else will happen in our lives at anytime but Michael was a man beyond our time he’s still here with us maybe not physically but emotionally he is every time a flash mob dances for Michael or someone’s child Dances or dresses up like Michael his spirit lives on. Thank you your highness for inspiring us even though we paid for your gifts with betrayal and accusations I hope someday you will forgive us for what we did to you
