The most that can be said is that you got the job done. However, your initial angle for pulling was way to sharp. Should of probably tried to winch forward initially to get the lift from the rut, then change the truck angle to get the lift out of the ditch.

Could have put a little less strain on the truck for sure and I did get the job done but looking at it now Of course I could see how that would have helped and possibly made it slightly easier on the truck thanks for that little tip I hope to use it next time I’m in a position to thanks again
