I think of my dad when I listen to this song. He was a gentleman who loved his family and friends and especially my mom and I. He was diagnosed with arthritis in his 30’s, probably from having both legs broken in WWII. But he persevered through the pain, and worked in a steel mill until he retired. He was amazing, strong and a good man ❤

I just said "Goodbye For Now", to the love of my life of 23 years, the most gut renching feeling ever! I feel like I can't breathe! But it was necessary. Totally heart broken in N.C. USA. So thank God we have music, especially by Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam, to help me and him, navigate through this. Keep singing...

Depends on the family you experienced . There's the family you're handed into and some of us have a chosen family .. for those in my chosen family they know I would take any harm heading towards their way , without even a word .. and some in my family that I didn't pick some know if given the chance and harm popped up .. I'd shove them face first right into harms way .. they don't take the risk .. they stay away . ..

Tidal waves don't beg forgiveness Crashed and on their way Father he enjoyed collisions; others walked away A snowflake falls in may. And the doors are open now as the bells are ringing out 'Cause the man of the hour is taking his final bow Goodbye for now. Nature has its own religion; gospel from the land Father ruled by long division, young men they pretend Old men comprehend. And the sky breaks at dawn; shedding light upon this town They'll all come â??round Cause the man of the hour is taking his final bow Good bye for now. And the road The old man paved The broken seems along the way The rusted signs, left just for me He was guiding me, love, his own way Now the man of the hour is taking his final bow As the curtain comes down I feel that this is just goodbye for now

This song… 🔥. We played it at my dad’s memorial service and I come back to it often, in memory of him. “Young men they pretend, old men comprehend.” I wish my dad was here to talk through everything happening in the world. There was much I think he comprehended that I didn’t understand then.

Truly, truly WONDERFUL! In my eyes, James Norton (Sidney) was the one and only 'vicar' of Grantchester! He portrayed the role SO sublimely! Love him to bits!! SO glad I've bought all the DVD's of Grantchester, first 4 series. Also the books! Truly beautiful, so well written! Have read them so many times and still continue to watch the first 4 series over and over again. Truly BRILLIANT!!! ❤❤❤❤

Don't turn everything into words inside the head... Some things are made to be felt and others to be understood. If you feel something you will understand it, but if you try to understand something that is meant to be felt (and automatically learned) you will not be able to understand it (or learn from it) and you will create a lot of words, questions inside your head for trying to understand it but it will only sink you for these words, they should never have existed because they deprive you from the truth, they make you get lost for words... Please, don't get lost for words... Be good, be ok... You will find yourself...

I don't know how people can spend their lives (smile, time) in a so futile way, with so futile things. To me everything in the world is with a so wrong way that I just can't be comfortable in "just live my life" without trying to concert things, change things all around. It's kind of, I can't be 100% ok in mind if I know there's something of wrong... Well... Sometimes it's almost impossible not to feel wrong like everything around or simply out of what you always thought it would be, should be in a world like this... I know that it isn't just me so... One day, when I was feeling like this (and I was very furious) as always I couldn't hear anything that was being played in my player so, I turned it off and thought in what could I hear in that moment because, I did not want just stop to hear music as times before because I did not want to end up staying away from music and... After few time trying to find that what I needed inside of me Man Of The Hour was what came... What can I say? Well, that was the best thing (most certain thing) that I have ever made in my life (no exaggerating)... For those who have moments like these know that they always come back some time... For those who know to feel, need to feel, Man of the Hour has the cure for these feelings... After it started it really pushed me to where I needed to be inside of me, made me find (feel) myself again... This may sound just like words for those who are just reading to, it's good to remember that things they come just when you are truly needing to, when you are ready for, and it's not good to get lost for words, not even thoughts, but when you need it you will feel it right...

Andrieli da Silva Pires if you haven’t seen the film big fish watch it and you realize just how good this is as it was written for the soundtrack. I am blown away by their lyrics they truly are amazing. And it amazes me that someone who would have been quite young at the time wrote those lyrics for black. Also I get what you are saying I’m quite lucky to get that feeling when I listen to music and there is some songs that I hear once and just don’t lose the feeling or forget the feeling when I heard them first time this is one of them I understand what you’re comment means it’s quite beautiful .
