To all the people asking why the crowd booed when Eddie introduced the keyboard player...they weren't booing...it's a PJ concert tradition when Eddie introduces Boom Gaspar (on keyboard), the crowd goes "Booooooooommm".....

I loved their first album, ten, then I drifted away from them over the years. then I got sirius radio in my car and they started a Pearl Jam station 2 or 3 years ago. Pearl Jam is one of my favorite 'band' channels that I flip between when driving, the concert replays from all over the world going back to 1992 are awesome. Eddie and other band members occasionally do audience call-ins and stuff, whenever I've heard him on sirius, Eddie has been cool about taking questions but he'll also joke around with callers, no big rock star ego or anything. I like they have that legacy of going up against Ticketmaster (even though they lost). Eddie and the band will def call 'bullshit' when they see it, that is the true spirit of a rocker to me!

Responding from the future and the past, lol. I had the luck to see Pearl Jam live in the 90's and he HATED the crowd singing along. He would deliberately switch up his lyrics and the tempo of the songs to keep people from joining in, which you can still see him do in this video to a degree. Still a most excellent concert from a talented band. I think he finally somewhat warmed up to the sing-alongs.

This song came out when I was going through some absolutely crazy times in my life, dealing with childhood trauma that was suppressed, out of several toxic relationships, and just trying to heal from all of it. I know the words by heart, and, like most every Pearl Jam song, this one especially hit my heart hard. I needed this as part as the soundtrack of my life!

The beginning with the crowd singing had me in tears. I really hope to go see Pearl Jam and as many rock legends that are still here with us before it's too late. Even the Rolling Stones, despite qualms about their current live performances.. So many generations of rock run in my family's veins, and I feel like going to these concerts would complete some sort of circuit within my brain lol. Like, they're such an integral and personal part of my so many people's lives, and it's like seeing an old friend...

Indeed the Hands of Time tear down a man's flesh and all that he builds with his hands,...but sometimes, what a man creates from his mind, heart and soul , those same Hands of Time BUILD and PRESERVE as LEGEND. -PW Thank you Eddie. Your music; Countless lives touched, endless meaningful moments created, infinite positivity woven through this little piece of fabric in time we share.

Before I die, I must meet Eddie in person. I have seen him many times in concerts but never in person. I grew up with his music. I lived in Seattle. I worked at Arnies north shore and met Chris Cornell and soundgarden during one of their meetings. I remember the rumor of Pearl Jam playing at a local small bar but I wasn’t old enough to get in. Maybe it will happen.

The enthusiasm they show when they play shows you how much they are true musicians. As a guitarist myself they make you wanna play and this show reminds me of why I wanted to play. This country has some great music. Nothing like American rock.

I watched Singles again the other night. 1992. So many crazy world events were swirling at that time and PJ were radiating their success from 10 to an insurmountable wave of musical frenzy. Smart man that Cameron Crowe to book Jeff, Stone, and Eddie in the flick. It is such fun to look back at Pearl Jam's inception and subsequent prolific evolution to a 3 decade legacy. What exceptionally gifted gentlemen they are to sustain in this business and to consistently keep their fan flock together over several generations. Vitalogy has aged quite well. So have you, sons of Seattle.

I am now 35 but when i was young, back when i was starting to like rock music i didn't appreciate and listen to their music as much except their "Last Kiss". I was more into punk rock songs and new stuff... but as i get older, though still into punk rock... and i listen to the old albums and tracks of Pearl Jam, it was like "these songs will continue to live on until i have grand kids"... it hit me like i was saying to myself "why the hell did i not pay attention to their music back the early days". But still i am grateful that i can still hear their music and have known the band Pearl Jam.

I had a magical summer flying a rock band "Pearl Jam"..picked them up in Seattle..had heard of them but didn't know their music so I bought the cD 10...and we started a 25 show tour ..this was the summer of 2000. We would leave after the concert ended so were flying at 2 am a lot...so I would go back and "chat" with the roadies who sat next to the kitchen (galley)...and I asked "how is the band doing?" they would say "fine" and we talked about normal shit...and ate pizza rolls, finger foods..bullshitting...these 2 guys were great ...and later I found out they were "eddie and stone"...ha ha...it was wonderful to meet them not knowing they were so FAMOUS...and they were just incredibly "humble"..not full of themselves...interested in my world..not just theirs...so I stayed a fan my entire life..and reinforce wht most PJ fans probably already know about them. Peace.
