Super Cover Oliver ... Videoschnitt, Soundmix und spieltechnisch alles vom feinsten. Ritchies Daumentechnik ist etwas tricky und die meisten Gitarristen, die diesen Song covern, verzichten auf dieses kleine detail, but you nailed it, wie man so schön auf hochdeutsch sagt. :)))) Hut ab vor allen Beteiligten!

Vielen Dank. Die meisten spielen den Riff mit dem Plektron. Aber ich denke auch, das Blackmore, wie auch bei Smoke on the Water, die eine Saite mit dem Plektron spielt und die andere zupft. Ich spiele die tiefere Saite mit dem Plektron und zupfe die Obere mit dem Ringfinger.

Ja stimmt. Ritchie spielt bei vielen Song's die tiefe E-Saite mit dem Daumen. Highway Star ist auch so ein Song, bei dem er diese Technik anwendet.

Really excellent effort! Singing Dio songs is no small order! Rather than try and reproduce the original, Oliver made the solo his own - the one concession in a cover track that is totally acceptable to put your own individuality in.
